Updated October 17, 2026 — the most comprehensive cross-platform OTT guide for this week, this month, and everything confirmed for November. Sorted by language, verified across platforms, no filler.
October's third week belongs to two films. Jailer 2 opened in cinemas yesterday with Rajinikanth at full throttle — Vidya Balan's performance has already overtaken the lead in social chatter, and a Hrithik Roshan cameo detonated social media twelve hours before the first show. Meanwhile, Drishyam The Conclusion crossed ₹507 crore globally in exactly two weeks, Ajay Devgn's franchise farewell now the second-highest grossing Indian film of 2026, expected on JioHotstar before Diwali. And nineteen days from now: Ramayana – Part I (Nov 5) carries the combined score of Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita — India's biggest theatrical bet of the decade.

🎬 Malayalam OTT Spotlight
Kishkindha Kaandam (Netflix, 8.3) is the year's most discussed thriller — neighbourhood paranoia, zero action, maximum tension. Antappante Athbudha Pravarthikal (Prime, 8.6) is possibly the finest Malayalam film of the past three years. This week, Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar (Netflix) opens to strong critical response — a psychological procedural that turns the crime format inside out. Khalifa (Prime, Oct 17), Prithviraj's new drop, delivers lean and brutal with no padding.
🎭 Hindi Blockbusters on OTT
Hunkkaar: The Roar (JioHotstar, 8.2) is the Hindi OTT event of September — a courtroom drama about a whistleblower attorney. Shaque: Trust No One (Netflix, 8.0) is the psychological thriller of 2026. Stree 3 is now on Prime Video. This week: Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 (Netflix, Oct 18). Most anticipated: Gajab Raat (Netflix, Oct 23) and Paatal Lok S3 (Prime, Oct 28).
🌟 Tamil & Telugu — What's Worth It
Amaran (Netflix, 8.5) — Sivakarthikeyan in a biographical war drama, now one of the most re-watched films on the platform. Retro (Netflix, Oct 19) — Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj reuniting. In Telugu: Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (Prime, 7.8) and Maharaja (Netflix, Oct 21) with Vijay Sethupathi.
