Each row is a plan/option variant. “History” starts at the first official NAV available here, which may differ from the strategy’s inception date. Unclassified plans remain visible under All plans.
Official daily NAVs are reconciled with AMFI’s separate text and structured publications. Historical returns are recomputed before a snapshot is published.
Official AMFI SIF NAVs ↗Automated checks verify consistency across the official publications.
Publication timestamp will appear after loading.
Weekends, holidays and delayed disclosures can leave the latest NAV unchanged.
1M/3M/6M/1Y use 30/90/180/365 calendar days, with the last available NAV on or before the target, at most seven days earlier. Missing coverage is shown as unavailable.
Failed refreshes keep the last validated snapshot. The page checks for updates every 15 minutes while visible and retains your research settings.
A Specialised Investment Fund offers investment strategies within SEBI’s mutual fund framework, with greater portfolio flexibility and a higher entry threshold than conventional mutual funds.
It is a market-linked investment. Capital and returns are not guaranteed.
A long position benefits when an asset rises. A short position can benefit when it falls. Derivatives introduce basis, counterparty, liquidity and execution risks; a hedge does not eliminate losses.
An interval strategy does not necessarily permit daily redemption. Check dealing windows, notice periods, settlement, exit loads and any restrictions in the current Investment Strategy Information Document (ISID).
General guidance reviewed 7 November 2026. Confirm the current requirements with your chosen AMC or registrar.
The framework generally requires an aggregate investment of at least ₹10 lakh at PAN level across strategies of the same SIF; accredited investors have an exemption. This is distinct from a strategy’s additional-purchase or SIP amount. Threshold monitoring and passive-breach treatment have specific rules: check the current documents before redeeming.
SEBI threshold monitoring circular ↗This screener does not collect KYC documents or process investments. Use the AMC’s official portal or an authorized intermediary.
Reviewed 7 November 2026. Check the AMC’s current tax disclosure, portfolio classification and listing status for your strategy. The rates below are Indian base rates before applicable surcharge and cess.
| Tax classification | Long-term if held | Short-term gains | Long-term gains |
|---|---|---|---|
| Equity-oriented fund with applicable securities transaction tax (STT) | More than 12 months | 20% under section 196 | 12.5% above the aggregate annual ₹1.25 lakh threshold for eligible gains under section 198. |
| Specified mutual fund under section 76 | Gains deemed short-term for eligible units | Applicable rates, generally the individual’s slab rate | Short-term treatment applies regardless of holding period to qualifying units acquired on or after 1 April 2023. |
| Other listed units | More than 12 months | Generally applicable slab rate | Generally 12.5% without indexation under section 197. The equity-specific threshold does not apply. |
| Other unlisted units | More than 24 months | Generally applicable slab rate | Generally 12.5% without indexation under section 197. The equity-specific threshold does not apply. |
Section 76 generally covers funds with more than 65% in debt and money-market instruments, or funds with at least 65% in units of such a fund, measured using the prescribed annual averages. A strategy name, short exposure or published NAV alone cannot establish its tax classification.
Redemptions and switches can realise taxable gains. Each SIP instalment has its own acquisition date. IDCW distributions can be taxable at applicable rates. For resident unit holders, the base withholding rate on qualifying distributions is 10% when the statutory conditions are met. Keep the AMC’s capital gains statement, transaction confirmations and tax records.
The AMC can withhold Indian tax on redemptions and distributions. Eligible non-resident distributions generally have a 20% base withholding rate, subject to treaty relief and applicable rules. Your final liability depends on tax residence, the gain, applicable treaty provisions and your circumstances. To claim eligible treaty relief, check the Tax Residency Certificate and Form 41 requirements for this tax year with the AMC and your adviser.
The comparison and historical illustrations use pre-tax returns. Strategy details show an AMC tax classification when verified. Some listed interval SIFs can fall under the other-listed category, as the AMC explains for its qsif Hybrid and Active Asset Allocator strategies.
Read the current ISID, factsheet and addenda before investing.
An Indian SIF sits within the mutual fund regulatory framework but has a distinct strategy framework and investment threshold. PMS and AIFs have separate structures and rules. Compare the actual mandate, costs, liquidity and risk rather than the product label alone.
No. NAV is the per-unit value of the portfolio. Initial face values and distribution histories differ. Evaluate returns over a common period, the mandate and costs—not the NAV level.
A strategy may lack enough official history, or a suitable starting observation. IDCW NAV changes exclude cash distributions, so this page withholds investment returns for those options. Missing data is never treated as zero.
“Available history” measures change from the first NAV available in this dataset. It is not labelled since-inception performance. It is an absolute return, even when the history exceeds one year.
Only if the specific strategy permits it, subject to investment-threshold rules and its dealing terms. An interval strategy may offer redemption only during specified windows. Check minimum instalments, exit loads and notices in the current ISID.
Acceptance depends on the AMC, country, investor status and application channel. US/Canada restrictions can differ. Confirm acceptance and KYC, banking, FATCA–CRS and tax requirements directly with the AMC; this page does not certify eligibility.
The scheduled pipeline checks for official disclosures each day and retries delayed publication. The page rechecks the latest published snapshot every 15 minutes while visible. NAVs are end-of-day, not intraday prices; refreshing does not create a new official NAV.
Tax treatment depends on the fund’s tax classification, listing, holding period and investor circumstances. See the India tax guide for the applicable categories and resident and non-resident considerations.
Select comparable plans and options, use common dates and consider mandate, liquidity, expenses and downside risk. Short histories can be misleading. This page provides research tools, not personalised recommendations.
NAV is the value per unit after fund assets and liabilities are accounted for. The applicable purchase or redemption NAV depends on the strategy’s dealing window, cut-off rules and, for purchases, when money is available to the fund. The screen shows published end-of-day NAVs.
The plans belong to the same strategy. Regular plans include distribution costs, so expenses and NAV performance can differ. Compare the same option over identical dates and check each plan’s published expense ratio.
Growth keeps investment earnings within the unit value. IDCW can distribute income or capital, and NAV typically falls by the distribution amount when it is paid. Compare investment returns only when distributions are included in the calculation.
BER is the disclosed base expense ratio. TER is the published total expense ratio for the plan and can include additional reported costs. NAV-based returns already reflect charges taken from the fund. Exit loads and investor taxes are separate.
An exit load is a strategy-specific charge on eligible redemptions or switches. It can depend on when units were allotted and how much you withdraw. Check the current ISID and addenda before placing an instruction.
A switch generally redeems one plan and purchases the other. Check the dealing windows, any exit load, capital gains and the applicable investment threshold before switching. The AMC or transaction platform handles the order.
Availability varies by strategy and AMC. A SIP makes periodic purchases, an STP moves money between eligible strategies, and an SWP makes periodic redemptions. Check minimums, frequencies, tax and redemption windows in the current disclosure. Set up instructions on the AMC or authorized platform.
A folio is an account record at the fund house. An investor can have several folios. The Fund Info tab distinguishes published strategy counts from AMFI category totals, which cover several funds. Access personal statements through your AMC, registrar or depository.
The AMC publishes a benchmark intended to reflect the strategy’s investment mandate. Some SIF benchmarks combine equity, debt or commodity indices. See the Fund Info or Portfolio tab for the disclosed benchmark and check it before comparing performance.
The published SIF risk band is the AMC’s risk label. Volatility measures how widely observed Growth NAV changes vary. Drawdown measures the largest decline from a previous peak over the history shown. Short history can limit all historical comparisons.
The peer view matches strategy category, dealing structure, plan and option, then compares Growth returns on common NAV dates. Consider liquidity, strategy, costs and downside as well as performance. A short period can favor a particular style.
Use the AMC’s dated portfolio report for actual securities, derivatives and position weights. The Portfolio tab shows verified dated snapshots where available and separates them from the stated allocation ranges in the strategy mandate. Disclosures may lag the latest NAV.
Review the current ISID, factsheet and notices for the mandate, benchmark, published risk band, fees, eligibility and redemption windows. Check the plan and option you are buying and verify that you can access the money when you need it.
Contact the AMC or registrar to update KYC and tax residency and confirm permitted bank accounts and transaction channels. Some AMCs have country-specific restrictions. See the resident and NRI KYC guide and the tax guide.
